Imagine changing your life by helping others to change theirs and turning your life experience into <>professional qualifications.

The British School of Applied Psychology (BSAP) offers a rigorous and professional therapist training. Your training will be based on contemporary research and theories and will challenge you to look at Hypnotherapy training as more than just a base for accreditation and registration. Your course will form the foundation of the development of your skills, knowledge and future career.

Gain your qualification with BSAP in the field of Clinical Hypnotherapy and at the same time the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHR) professional qualification - GQHP (General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice). Holders of the BSAP Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy are eligible to apply for CNHC registration. Then continue your professional development with BSAP seminars, workshops and short courses/CPD designed with your therapeutic practice in mind. Your study fits around your work, life and family commitments and no formal entry qualifications are required. Courses are held at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent.

What Our Graduates Say

The course is phenomenal

I applied to be part of the course with no knowledge of Hypnotherapy, I was naive to the content and truly believed it was going to be all practical. After the first class session, I was amazed at how much was involved with the academic side, but then to actually practice on a fellow student, putting them into trance, was fantastic.
For me the academic forecast was daunting, but with the full support of Betty George and Paul, I managed to write good essays and surprisingly my marks were alongside, if not better, than other professionals within my group. I was just a working class mum/grandmother looking for a profession that stands me out from the crowd and to take along my future path.
Betty was always attentive, eager and so forward with her knowledge at every class session. Betty’s ability to capture my curiosity, helping me to nurture the information has been outstanding. There was jokes and giggles, honesty and frankness, I always felt important. We were a team.
I never felt there was any rudeness or disapproving language. The classes were always welcoming, warm and jolly.
In my opinion, the course is phenomenal, the tutors were so enthusiastic and willing you on, all the time. We all became friends, being supportive to one another.
Betty is a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable person. I am privileged to know her and to have as a future colleague and friend.
